She is contagious!

Bonnie Blackman’s energy and enthusiasm are contagious. It’s why yearbook staffs love her. She helps them bring their books to life; she is their biggest cheerleader. Bonnie inspires students through her actions and words to believe in a common vision for their book. Her convention sessions are always dynamic presentations that leave the audience excited and ready to implement her suggestions. Bonnie is much more than a yearbook rep, she is an educator in the true sense of the word.

She is invaluable

Invaluable, is the word for Bonnie Blackman. As a new adviser, I had no idea what it entailed and she was there every step of the way. Bonnie challenges the students to be better, she does this by posing questions to the kids to lead them in a direction. She requires them to think and defend their decisions, she does not allow them to settle. Bonnie is an inspiration to us and when she walks in the room it raises our spirits because she brings such a positive vibe to the space. She is amazing.

She is a beacon!

Bonnie Blackman is a beacon in the Jostens and Jostens Renaissance community. She supports her yearbook staff as if they were her own family, and the schools and students she works with every day can tell how much she cares about them. She’s without a doubt one of the biggest proponents of Renaissance, and I know that The Harbor would not be where it is today without Bonnie’s help and enthusiasm. My team and I can’t thank you enough, Bonnie.
